About Me

IMG_3378I am an entrepreneur with a passion for technology and social media. I co-own an internet hosting company, Web Savers and partake in consulting services for local businesses looking to make the most of their business through a web presence and business automation tools.

I have worked as a computer repair technician for Future Shop for more than six years working on all sorts of computer repair, data recovery and in-house automation services and can often be found in the back of a local coffee shop drinking tea and working on someone’s website (sometimes even my own!)

Up until my convocation in May of ’09 the majority of my time was spent working on a Bachelor of Computer Science (minor in business) from Dalhousie University in Halifax Nova Scotia.

These days I continue to work at Future Shop one or two days a week, although the majority of my time is spent on the business development and growth of Web Savers. We have quite a few projects in the works and are really excited to start sharing them with our current and future clients. I have also been helping with the IT planning and development for a start-up auto shipping company, MVS Canada. Automation is the final goal with MVS, as with many companies, and so my primary role is in the project management of their automation software system.

Somewhere amongst all of this, I try to keep up to date with a few really great TV shows. I’m currently watching Eureka, Entourage, Hung, and The Closer – my awesome summer selection. My winter shows of choice are Dexter, House, Bones, Supernatural, Stargate Universe, and Smallville. You’re likely to see my episode likes or dislikes via Twitter, so follow me up!
